Melissa Ricks admitted that she prefers to play a kontrabida role than bida role.
“I actually prefer doing kontrabida roles kesa sa bida roles. I enjoy ‘yung nagsusuplada, ‘yung may inaaway,” paliwanag niya. Dagdag pa niya, noong nakipag-meeting daw siya with the bosses ay hiniling daw niya sa mga ito na bigyan siya ng mga roles na kontrabida. “I want to get offbeat roles, gray roles na kaaway nung bida. For some reason I enjoy doing that better than inaapi, ako umiiyak ako.”
How's you and Paul Jake's relationship? Are you both happy together?
“Everything is good. I’m happy with my career, with my love life, with my family. Masaya naman po ako. There is nothing more I can ask for this year. Last year was bumpy, but this year, sobra-sobra na ‘yung blessings na ibinibigay sa akin, so thankful ako sa ABS-CBN and Star Magic dahil di nila kami pinabayaan.”
